QUESTION: What happens over Christmas and New Year?

ANSWER:

Regular Cleaning Services Clients

  • Please discuss with our office or individually with your cleaner about your holiday plans and your cleaners availability over the holiday period.
  • If you will be away giving 2 weeks notice is appreciated – We hope you enjoy a wonderful relaxing break!!!
  • If your cleaner will be away we can make sure replacements are organized before our office closes for Christmas to ensure your services continue smoothly.
  • If you don’t already have your cleaners direct contact number from your welcome (or replacement cleaner) letter please call our office or ask your cleaner so you can communicate over the holiday period while our office is closed eg.  to re-schedule, cancel session, confirm a session or for feedback.
  • Any current clients are welcome to call our office before we close and request a staff emergency mobile number for use while our office is closed to ensure ongoing support.

New Enquiries/Bookings

  • In the lead up to Christmas our office is very busy so please book as early as possible for Window Cleaning, Carpet Steam Cleaning and 1-off Cleaning. Even if it is last minute please do give us a call – we will do all we can to assist or contact our Cleaning Staff

Please contact us by DECEMBER 22nd to schedule any 1-off services: Vacate/Spring cleans, Windows, Gardening, Carpet Steam Cleaning needed between the end of December and the middle of January as our office will be closed from Friday December 23rd until re-opening Monday January 9th.  Request a staff emergency mobile number for use while our office is closed to ensure access and support by staff while our office is closed.  Please do keep in mind that office staff will be on holiday leave and will be providing this service as an emergency back-up only so you may need to leave a message and await a return call to assist.

Regular or Specialist Cleaner? What is the Difference?

Our Regular Cleaners…

Can help you keep up with the usual weekly maintenance required in the home such as dishes, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of the “wet areas” such as kitchen, bathrooms, toilets, laundry, ironing etc.

  • Are booked on a regular basis: weekly or fortnightly (monthly or casual at higher rates) for reliable on-going services.
  • Value for money at competitive rates
  • Use products you provide.
    - Peace of mind for you as they are using the products you know and trust to be the best for your household surfaces.
  • No scrubbing on hands and knees
    - Except for bath, shower bases and spas
  • No climbing chairs or ladders.
    - May clean inside windows that can be reached from standing on the floor
  • No oven cleaning – other than a quick wipe over
  • Average booking 4 hours
    - Minimum 2 hours/week or 3 hours/fortnight
    - Cleaners perform the highest priority tasks first and then fit in as many extra tasks in the time booked.
    - You may vary the hours needed week to week provided your cleaner is available – just update our office.

Are fully equipped to service high quality deep cleaning needs including carpets, bathrooms, kitchens, ovens, stoves, spot wall cleaning as well as professional window cleaning

  • Are booked for One – Off cleans such as vacating – bond back, spring cleaning or party help.

  • Deep cleaning and attention to detail on all surfaces. Specialist products and techniques reduce the need for scrubbing and optimise efficiency
  • Equipped with ladders and trained in proper safety for cleaning high areas such as ceilings, windows, walls and the household exterior. When booking please alert us to any work 2nd storey height or higher to ensure correct equipment etc.
  • Oven cleaning a specialty
  • Average booking:
    - Spring Clean 6 hours
    - Vacate Clean 8 – 12
    - Minimum booking 4 hours

However, your cleaner will check with you at the end of your booked time to see whether you wish them to continue. It can be difficult to estimate how much time is needed and our goal is to do a quality job to ensure you are happy. If needed our cleaner will continue late into the night or return the next day to complete the job. We won’t let you down!
